Generic programmes which cover a range of subjects, such as languages and literature, social and natural sciences, mathematics, arts and/or physical education, should be classified in 0011 ‘Basic programmes and qualifications’. This should be the case even if there is some concentration on a certain category of subject matter, such as humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, etc., which can occur.
